Changes in my music video- Already!!

Outfits
Whilst filming I decided that some of my outfits at the beginning of the video, I had planned to use weren't suitable because of what I wanted to wear. Some outfits were just too promiscuous for this video, something I have to think about throughout filming. Although the lyrics are quite suggestive, I wanted to contridict the lyrics by creating a negative image on getting drunk and being out of control contrasting Katy Perry's version of portraying it as positive. I need to balance this negativity as I don't want to portray girls in a negative light but develop a message to show that being drunk isn't always a good thing. I also wanted to focus on the colour of outfit to connote a meaning. I decided rather than wearing the pink dress in the bath scene, I would use red to connote the danger of what she has put herself into waking up in the bath not knowing how she has got there. This could also suggest her change of personality when she is drunk. She's not a nice person when she is out of control which is similar to most people in reality.

Style of video
Because of the strong message at the beginning, I wanted it to be a bit more light-hearted. So whilst planning my music video I have decided to begin with a narrative story line of a girl waking up after a night out as planned from the start however I want to make the music video look fun and positive - a key feature in katy perry's music video who uses lots of colour. So, I have planned to use a concept based approach towards the end of the video with lots of posing, dancing and colour.
